Cintu Corsican rosé
This product is currently sold out.
Fresh and peachy light summer rosé, beautiful pale coral colour and incredibly good value.
Producer: Les Vignerons d'Aghione, Corsica, France.
Cintu is the highest Corsican peak and gives its name to these wines. They are made halfway between the sea and the mountain by a collective of Vignerons (wine makers) from the island. Using indigenous island grapes and innovate techniques, they make unique, approachable wines.
What we say: "The Cintu rosé is a one way ticket to a Corsican beach. It's light with a unique blend of grapes that gives its a beautiful pale pink-orange colour that we love for a summer rosé. It's also a summer holiday on the palate, with delicious notes of peach and citrus. Despite these, it isn't sweet; it's a dry rosé. At just £11.90, it is also more affordable than many of its Provençal cousins. Cintu really does tick all the boxes with this wine."
- Colour: rosé
- Grapes: sciaccarellu, grenache, syrah
- Region: Corsica, France
- ABV: 12%
- Vol: 75cl
Food recommendation: Stunning at l’apéritif, but also with salads and grilled fish. Best served at 8-10°C.
