The perfect rosé flight for a Provence apéritif and meal including a bottle of Château Saint Pierre (Var) and a bottle of Thourame (Luberon).

We start with Le Secret de Château Saint Pierre from the Var region. This wine is the perfect example of a light, dry, pale and incredibly refreshing rosé. Enjoy very cold, maybe with some ice. It's the ideal wine to start your apéritif. Coming next, its partner - should we say in crime? - Château Thourame, from our local cooperative in the Luberon. This wine is a rosé "de saignée". "Saignée" as it involves “bleeding” off a portion of red wine juice after it’s been in contact with the skins and seeds. It's made with the Syrah grapes that you find in most red wines in Provence and in the Rhône valley. The result is a stronger, rounder and more complex wine. Very enjoyable with a meal, it pairs perfectly with your summer and barbecue dishes. A match made in heaven.
