Set of 6 Antique Provençal Earthenware Dessert Plates - Yellow Gold Glaze (21cm)

A beautiful set of 6 antique dessert plates from Haute-Provence, handmade in the early 1900s. Crafted in earthenware with a rich Provençal yellow-gold glaze, each plate features an off-black hand-painted border in a shape reminiscent of Louis XV tableware.

Story: We bought this piece at a brocante near Lagarde d’Apt in July 2025. A rare and elegant example of traditional Provençal tableware, perfect for adding warmth and authenticity to any setting. 

Condition: Uniform in size and finish, these plates have been batch stamped on the reverse, numbered 411 of 600. The glaze is consistent across the set, with small, charming imperfections along the painted border - a hallmark of their handmade feature. Some plates show tiny, barely visible chips, but overall they remain in excellent for their age.
