What a breath of fresh air to have a decent bread knife again.
I confess I was expecting the knife to feel a little heavier duty, but actually it is really nice to use and comfortable in the hand. Excellent value and all in all rather magnifique.
The knife handle is too small and slim to feel comfortable in the hand, byt the blade is superb. The knife took 2 weeks to arrive, and it came gaffer-taped to a chunk of cardboard ! and then in a padded envelope. I was horrified. See photo as evidence.
Cannot give full review as this is part of a Christmas gift.

I feel like a mug I spent good money on this oyster knife after my old cheap one broke. This one lasted a fraction of my old knife life span despite cost three times as much. The blade isn’t even made of metal.

We were introduced to Cassoulet many years ago by a late friend. Although we had been to France many times we had never eaten it. Now it is something that I always make sure that I have in my larder. Not only is it delicious and great for a last minute meal but it also holds memories of a dear friend.
This is the best lemon cordial that I have ever tasted. Very fresh and thirst quenching. Also very concentrated, so the bottle lasts a long time. Definitely worth the expense.
