I bought this for my nephew, who kept admiring mine! He's truly delighted. Easy in hand, seems to keep sharp for a long time, very versatile especially for those jobs needing a dedicate touch! He loves it - as I do mine (which is now about 10 years old, at a guess!). A great knife.

The images and size details for this are deceptive. Though 30cm is only slightly shorter than a normal bread knife this is in fact false advertising. The knife is 29 cm in length including the handle, knife measurements exclude the handle. The serrated edge is only 15cm, or half the advertised length.
Additionally in every other way this knife is tiny, the lack of heft makes it average as a bread knife and awkward to hold. The handle is the same size and shape as my steak knife and the picture used shows it beside what appears to be a loaf but in fact must be a bun.
The picture shows the 15cm knife with 14cm handle, a Laguiole steak knife to show this is barely more than cutlery a conventional generic bread knife for reference (one with a 20cm blade which was advertised as a 30cm knife) and a single brioche bun to show how deceptive the photo used in the advertising is.
Very disappointing, I have been a huge fan of Laguiole knives for many years and and this was not the standard that was expected.

I love this bread knife so much. It is so sharp and cuts bread with ease. Frankly it's made me realise how awful my previous bread knives were. I've bought three in total, one as a gift.
I used it for slicing tomatoes thinly, and chorizo rings
So delicious, - despite being keen cooks, this will be our go to dish for friends and family (they deserve it!). For our twosome supper, we cooked the Daube in a lidded casserole @ 150c for 15-20 mins, served with crushed potatoes to soak up the jus and steamed leeks - wonderful!
As a non-meat eater, I can say it's enough to convert you!!!

It’s a funny thing to think one is treating oneself by buying a kitchen item as mundane as a bread knife. But this is a genuine treat, cuts everything like a dream, feels good in the hand and looks gorgeous. Love it. Who knew cutting bread could give such pleasure!

Delicious! Served with crispy parmentier potatoes cooked in the duck fat and green beans. I could almost imagine that I’m in the Dordogne.
