Knife Age Restrictions

By law, knives are age-restricted items, and we cannot sell them to anyone under the age of 18.

ORDERING ONLINE

To follow the UK Offensive Weapons Act 2019, every knife purchase made on our website is subject to an age check. Age verification is carried out securely through AgeChecked.com once you’ve entered your billing details at checkout. If your age can’t be confirmed automatically, you’ll be asked to verify using details such as the electoral roll, driving licence, mobile phone, credit card, or a scanned ID. You’ll have two opportunities to complete this process. DELIVERY REQUIREMENTS

All knife orders are sent using an adult signature service. Our couriers follow a Challenge 25 policy – if the recipient looks under 25, valid government-issued ID will be required. If proof of age can’t be shown, the parcel will be returned to our warehouse. If no one is available to accept the parcel, our courier will make one more attempt before returning the order. Delivery to a neighbour or “safe place” isn’t possible for age-restricted items.

Sending a gift?
If your order is a gift, the recipient will need to complete the age-verification process before we can dispatch it. Alternatively, we can send the gift to you, the purchaser.

IF YOU CAN'T PROVIDE PROOF OF AGE

If you’re unable to verify your age: We won’t be able to complete your order, and a refund will be issued. If your parcel has already been shipped, delivery charges are non-refundable and you may be responsible for return costs.

ORDERS OUTSIDE THE UK

If you are ordering knives from outside the UK, please be aware that age restrictions and import rules may vary depending on the country. We will not carry out age-verification checks for non-UK addresses. By placing an order, you confirm that you are over 18 years of age and that it is legal for knives to be imported into your country. You are responsible for checking and complying with local laws on age and knife ownership. If a shipment is refused by customs or returned to us because of local restrictions, we will refund the order (excluding delivery charges) once the goods have arrived back in our warehouse in good condition.
