This may well be apéritif rosé at its finest, and it's organic too!
Producer: Cave de Lumières, Goult, France.
Translating Amaterra as "soul from the soil" gives you a good idea of its quality. Amaterra is the top organic range from La Cave de Lumières. The parcels of syrah and grenache grapes are located in the north side of Goult, facing the Ventoux mountain, and the grapes themselves are pressed following a traditional method.
What we say: "With its light blush pink colour, the Amaterra rosé is an extremely attractive wine. The nose is clean and fresh like a morning dew with delicate hints of raspberries and wild strawberries, while the taste is crisp and neat. On the palate, the Amaterra rosé is dry and refreshing, rather than a fruity rosé. The balance between the acidity and the graceful notes of grenadine and red berries is genius. This incredible apéritif rosé deserves a standing ovation!"
