Hearty duck terrine made by a family-run cannery near Toulouse, following a traditional recipe and complemented by zingy candied melons from Menton (IGP).

What we say: "This terrine tastes like a blend of hearty French pâté and delicious duck foie gras. The added citrons confits bring freshness and zing. The locally sourced meat and ingredients are part of a recipe kept by the Patignac family since 1962. What's not to love? While you'd think of pairing it with a full-bodied Côtes du Rhône, we suggest trying it with a bottle of Lumières Viognier white."
