Confit d'oignon is a traditional French chutney made of caramelised onions and honey.

Producer: Meditea, Châteauneuf-de-Gadagne, Provence, France.

What we say: "This dark, sticky, and rich chutney is a family recipe with endless uses. It's delicious with hard cheeses, as a spread in sandwiches and goes perfectly with almost any meat."

Ingredients: Onions 71%, brown cane sugar, white vinegar (sulphites), Honey 3.6%, olive oil, sunflower oil, white wine (sulphites), salt, white pepper.

Storage: Store in cool, dry place, away from sunlight. Keep refrigerated after opening and consume within 8 days
