Luminense Ventoux AOP rouge 2021

A perfectly mature, deliciously suave Ventoux red.

Luminense is the superstar rouge from Cave de Lumières. It's made with a selection of their best syrah and grenache grapes from the Ventoux side of their domain. Luminense is a Ventoux AOP red which is vinified using a traditional method and aged for a year in concrete vessels.

What we say: "Luminense's deep ruby colour gives it a suave and sexy feel, like a powerful stallion. The nose is rich, with complex and intense notes of dark fruit and warm spices. We love how this wine is bold and velvety all at the same time. The taste is a comforting balance of blackcurrants, raspberries and sweet spices. The top wine from Cave de Lumières do not disappoint! This 2021 vintage is now perfectly mature but we think it could be sensational in 8 years—that's if you manage to keep it for that long! At just under £20, we think it's a steal!"

Food recommendation: Perfect companion for red meats and rich stews. We tried it with dark chocolate, it's fantastic too! Best served between 18°C (apéritif) and 20°C (with meal).
