“Aubépine” means hawthorn and this wine invigorates like the berries of its namesake.
Producer: Cave de Lumières, Goult, France
The Cave de Lumières in the town of Goult is famous for the wines produced there, so it's a fitting home for this unusually light white wine. The estate covers over 1500 acres and is managed by passionate winemakers dedicated to their craft.
What we say: "Rhône and Provence white wines are often weighty and a bit strong. Aubépine isn’t. The perfect assemblage of grenache blanc and roussane recipe for success when it comes to this lively "vin blanc". Its colour is a pale and discreet white and the notes of white flowers linger on the nose. Well balanced on the palate, it’s terribly refreshing with tasting notes of pears and clementines."
