Story: Our talented friend Justin has crafted these limited edition prints to showcase our beloved view of the village. Each piece features unique shades of greys, blacks, and blues, symbolising the changing seasons. The deeper greys and blacks suggest a winter scene, while the vibrant blues capture the essence of Provence’s spring skies. We own the original metal plate matrix and have chosen to produce just 15 of these exquisite prints.
Drypoint is a traditional intaglio printmaking method where an image is scratched into a plate with a pointed tool. This technique creates a burr that retains ink, revealing the intricacies of the drawing in the final print.
This is a unique opportunity to own a piece of art that depicts a charming Provence village. You can order the print on its own or opt for a framed version in a beautifully crafted wooden frame with glass, made specifically for your print by our local printer.
Prints dimensions:30cm x 20cm
Frame dimensions: 50cm x 40cm with mount cut 25cm x 20cm
Please be aware that the framed option is made to order and requires a lead time of 4-6 weeks. Unfortunately, we are unable to ship this product overseas.
