Vintage Biot Pink Bubble Glass Wine Cooler

Striking vintage wine cooler in rose pink bubble glass, associated with the glassmaking tradition of Biot on the Côte d’Azur. Its thick base and sculpted side handles give it wonderful presence and character. Designed to hold and chill a bottle of wine, it also makes a beautiful vase for fresh or dried flowers.

Story: Found in a brocante in Ménerbes, Provence, in July 2026.

Condition: Good vintage condition. Biot became renowned for its distinctive bubbled glass during the second half of the 20th century. Tiny air bubbles are deliberately trapped within the glass, creating a lively texture and ensuring that every piece is slightly different.
