Collection: Almond treats

The almond is the sweet backbone of Provence, and this is the part of our shop we find hardest to walk past. Calissons d'Aix, ground almond and candied melon under royal icing, in boxes of six, twelve or fifty-six, plus a mini version scented with rose, violet and lavender. Roasted Haute-Provence almonds three ways: coated in cane sugar with Bourbon vanilla, dusted in cocoa over dark chocolate, or glazed green and black to look uncannily like olives. White nougat made with lavender honey and grilled almonds. Croquants from a family bakery in Cordes sur Ciel, feather light and made for dunking. If you cannot choose, the Provençal chocolate and almond treats set covers most of it.

Our Corporate Clientèle

FAQs about our French food

Where are you based and where do you ship from?

Tariette is based in the UK, but our family is from Provence and we travel back and forth regularly to visit producers and source new products. Most orders are packed and sent from our warehouse in West London, where we keep our UK stock. Occasionally, for orders going to the EU, we may ship directly from France if the products are available there.

I am not sure what to order or how to pair products. Can you help?

Of course. If you are not sure what to choose, what to serve together or what would make a good gift, send us a message using the WhatsApp button on the website. We will be happy to help you select products for yourself, for a friend or for a special occasion.

Do you sell vegan food products?

Yes, some of our food products are vegan friendly. Popular examples include our aubergine spread, tabboulé, ratatouille, almond pralines and chocolate hazelnut spread. Please always check the individual product page and ingredients list before ordering, as recipes and production methods can vary by product.

How long do your food products keep?

Best before dates vary by product and by batch, but most of our pantry products have a good shelf life. Tins usually keep for at least 12 months, and often up to 36 months. Honeys, jams and tapenades are usually at least 12 months. Chocolates and sweet treats are generally between 6 and 12 months. The product with the shortest shelf life is usually saucisson, which can vary from around 3 weeks to 2 months. If you need a longer date for a gift, hamper or event, please contact us before ordering.

What is the best way to store your food products?

Most of our food products are ambient, which means they can be stored in a cupboard before opening and do not need to be kept in the fridge. We recommend keeping jars, bottles, tins and sweet treats away from heat and direct sunlight. Once opened, products such as tapenades, spreads, condiments, terrines and jams should usually be kept in the fridge. Depending on the product, they can keep from around 1 week to up to 3 months after opening. Please check the individual product page and packaging for specific storage instructions.

How long will my order take to arrive?

We usually pack and dispatch orders within 5 working days. For UK orders, we normally use Royal Mail 48, which usually takes around 2 working days after dispatch. For international orders, we use services such as Royal Mail Tracked or UPS, and delivery can take up to 10 working days depending on the destination. During busy periods, delivery may take a little longer.

Do you offer an express delivery service?

We may be able to offer express delivery on an ad hoc basis. If your order is urgent, please contact us by email or WhatsApp as soon as you have placed your order and let us know when you need it. If the products are in stock, we can often turn urgent orders around within 48 hours. In many cases, we will not charge extra, although this may depend on the order value, parcel size and delivery address.

Do you ship food products outside the UK?

Yes, we ship food products within the UK and to many countries in the EU. We do not currently ship food products to the USA. If you live outside the UK or EU, please contact us before placing your order so we can confirm whether delivery is possible for the products you would like to buy.

Do you offer wholesale prices or discounts for larger quantities?

Margins on artisan food products are often very tight, so we do not usually offer wholesale prices on most food items. However, please contact us if you are buying for a shop, deli, restaurant, event or if you would like a larger quantity of one particular product. Depending on the product, availability, quantity required and your location, we may be able to help.
